Hey everyone!
Today we’re going to learn how to create a secure
password.
We use passwords for everything: our phones, Gmail,
social media, online games, our computers…
So here, I’m
going to tell you 6 recommendations to have a secure password:
- It should have more than 8 elements.
- It can´t have something similar to your name, username, the name of the place you work...
- It can´t include information about you: like the date or place of birth, ID...
- It can´t include words from the dictionary in any language.
- It isn´t formed with numbers or letters that are near in the keyboard.
- It should contain elements of this groups:
·
Capital letters: A, B, C...
·
Small letters: a, b, c...
·
Digits: 0, 1, 2, 3...
·
Special elements: !, @, $, %, &,
/, (, ), =, ?, *...
Another recommendation is to don´t use the same
password in all your accounts, and for don´t forget them, you can use a
Password manager. We can use programs that help us remember all the passwords
we need and also meet all the necessary requirements to make the password
secure and strong.
In 2015, the most common passwords were:
- 123456
- password
- qwerty
Here I'm going to put examples of secure passwords:
- ICTElsaFreire
- erierFaslETCI (is like the first one but backwards)

In the next post we’re going to learn what is a
