IP Adress

Hello everybody,

Today I´m going to talk about NIC IP Configuration. To configure our NIC IP we need three numbers:

   -        IP adress

   -        Network Mask

   -        Getway

   -        DNS

1.       NETWORK MASK:

       All the numbers in the Network mask should be ‘255’ or ‘0’. An example could be:

        255.255.255.0

2.       DNS (Dynamic Server Name):

       It´s like a machine that transforms URL of the pages you search in Internet to an IP.

And this is everything of today’s  class.
